Limited-edition Darth Vader helmets, based on vintage production illustrations made during development of Star Wars, show the Dark Lord of the Sith in all his menacing glory.
Digital sculptor Jay Kushwara “captured the true sinister essence of the Darth Vader that Ralph McQuarrie envisioned in his original sketch,” said Bryan Ono, president of eFX, the company producing the $900 collectible helmet, in a press release Thursday.

This whole image is causing my left eyeball to twitch. First off, the famous Konami code is actually incorrect! It’s supposed to be ↑, ↑, ↓, ↓, ←, →, ←, →, B, A, Start (or Select, Start if you had friends like I had growing up who wanted to play some Contra with you).
Secondly, a SNES controller? So, the person featured is actually playing Batman Returns or TMNT: Turtles in Time?! The only other SNES game that I can remember where this code worked was in Gradius III, and entering that sequence would cause your ship to immediately self destruct! Blowing yerself up over and over again kinda goes against the whole, “Just because we use cheats doesn’t mean we’re not smart” tagline so smugly placed underneath the aforementioned failure.
Lastly, fingernail polish?! Wha!!? A lady playing video games?! What is this, Narnia?! Do they have a Super Nintendo set up at Hogwarts or whatever bullshit, fantasy land this image is supposed to be from?!
People, get some nerdlinger to do your research for you before you make dumb mistakes like this.
